Se poate oxida, dar e gresit sa spui ca are caracter reducator. Nu stiu insa de ce, poate te lamureste altcineva. 😀

Caracter reducator prezinta compusii care se pot oxida foartee usor, cu agenti oxidanti blanzi precum Tollens, Fehling. Cetonele se oxideaza in conditii energice, cu KMnO4/H2SO4, deci de aceea nu au caracter reducator.
